Although we provide a measuring service, we can also manufacture from your own measurements if required, to speed up lead time on manufacture. If you want to take your own measurements please consider the following:

1. Use a metal measuring tape not cloth as they stretch.

2. We can work to both imperial and metric sizes.

3. Decide whether you would like the blind to fit inside or outside of the recess.

4. Note any possible obstructions to blinds for example: window handles, inward opening windows, dado rail, tiles etc.

5. Take note if your window is not square or the sill or flooring is not level.

If in doubt we will be more the happy to send one of our experience fitters to take measurements. Or one of our trained showroom team will be able to talk you through any decision.

Recess
	Measure the width and drop in 3 places. Measure wall to wall, and top to sill and do not make any allowances. We will apply the necessary tolerances when manufacturing the blinds.
External
	Measure the width and drop giving an additional 3 inches / 76mm around the edge of the recess. Be aware of any obstructions that may interfere with the fittings at the top of the blind.
