No amount of rain could deter our team this weekend who successfully completed the Dragon Boat Race Challenge for the RSBC. It is the first fundraising challenge we have done in support of our charity partner and although none of the team members had taken part in a dragon boat race before, the team thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the day.
The team did amazing in their heats (first team to get a lap time under one minute) but narrowly lost out on the final by less than 3/10s of a second. This didn’t dampen their spirits by any means and there has been talks about next year’s event already!
